Fiat esporta il made in Italy. E svende l'Italy

Nothing to declare: we just go. Now it's official: Fiat does not speak italian any more. It works in the Usa, where for the first time in its history makes a convocation of the board, thinking seriously to move to Serbia. That's the market, baby. There production is cheaper, and so more competitive. It's not a mistery: in Serbia Fiat gets economical conditions that in Italy it never would have. Why remain in a country - Italy - where workers cost is higher, where you have to pay taxes, where trade unions make pressions? Why remain in a a country like that if in another one - Serbia - you have a ten years tax free system, a cost of wages much more competitive (half italian average wage and also maybe less) and the opportunity to decide freely without any interference? That's the point: can make everything one wants.
Sergio Marchionne has in his mind the creation of an empire, a productive model based on full power of the owner, and so Fiat. But imperialism means have someone who has the total power and a moltitude of people forced to the obbedience. In few words, a slavery. A modern one, sure, with another name but always slavery. But this is what Marchionne is generating, has already generated. Four hundred euros per month of wage, no possibilities of strikes, strict controls on ill permissions, easy dismissals: that's what Fiat can do in Serbia but cannot in Italy, and this is why abroad Marchionne and co. can set up their empire. An economical, productive and geo-political empire. Fiat is in fact present in United States with Chrisler and is already present with factories in Polonia and Brazil. Moving in Serbia, the once italian group conquests another part of global market. But thi empire is due to became a social empire: a lot of people with no rights but only with duties. By Fiat a demonstration of modern democracy: a modern democracy very similar to the old monarchies. And just like a traditional king, Marchionne has the power to say to italian government: "there's any to discuss, there are no agreements. We move to Serbia, and that's it. Bye". At the same time - using the same high-handedness - unilaterally decides to break the law, rediscuss working contract opening dangerous paths and creating a precedent which could replan the whole working market. So, by Fiat also comes a demonstration of how one of the historical symbol of made in Italy now does not mind in italian. Simply, doesn't mind.
